awesome!

That's really exciting!
i'm hoping to order mine fairly soon (once they offer a weaker processor). i hope that by getting a 7200 2.0ghz processor (if its available) it'll drop the price at least $200. And probably just get the 8700m GT. Gaming isn't a priority right now, but this laptop gives much more room for upgrades as compared to the dell m1530 imo.

The best website to go for uploading pics IMO would have to be either Photobucket or Tinypic

Goodluck with your new alienware! i'm looking forward to reading your review!

Wow, look at your credits!!
Newly joined and very high credits, amazing!

wow, I'm impressed that a single 8800 gtx blows away a m9750 with SLI 7950GTXs. Even when the CPU scores are similar (thus similar CPU power) a single 8800 gtx is amazing.

I'm scared to think of what SLI 880 gtxs can do in a laptop.

Ya the Stream processors in the 8800 GTX's are more than 2 times the amount in a 7950 GTX.
Dual 8800 GTX... CRYSIS MAXXXEEDDDDDDD OUTTTT

They have been saying that the single 8800gtx would beat the 7950SLI but they also say when you SLI the 8800 then you get into the heat/power problems. The 8800GTX SLI better for Desktop, I would not want to put it into a lappy.

Wow, that's quite a powerhouse. GL & post some pics.

To late dell already has, but the numbers I'm seeing for the sli rig is only (3D mark 06) is 13K which seems low compared to this single card. But man the 8800gtx rocks - I want one!!!

I managed to squeeze 10172 out of 3dmark06(169.61 only thing is no DV). With a extreme processor and a single 8800gtx in my M15x.

THis thing is amazing playing Crysis all day all on high setting running 22-28 fps. or giggles I tried wow with 2 seperate windows running, stayed above 60 fps with both toons running lol..

Yeah, that's what they also said about putting an 8800 in a 15.4" and looked how well it turned out!

Yes for a single card it runs great, no heat or power issues. Im not saying that it should not be done its just some of the chatter going around about SLI ing the 8800 in a notebook.

When the 17" comes out we will see.

It was said about the 7950 and that works great.
