Just to let you know that you could've done that with dvi cable or dvi to hdmi...

Well, it would be great if the HDMI supports audio as well, but so far, it seems that there is no audio out through the HDMI.

Has anyone gotten their audio to work via the HDMI connection?

I have been wondering if the Alienware KB item actually works or not...
