Laptop Memory

Quick question about memory. Whats the difference between 2 sticks of 256 and one stick of 512? I am talking about laptop memory. Does anyone know anywhere I can get good prices on laptop memory? It probably will not make a difference to me which I get, and I need SO-DIMM memory. Thanks everyone. Forgot to mention I am looking for PC2700.

1 stick of 512 leaves u room to have another 512 stick for 1 gig ram

2 sticks of 256 leaves you no room for upgrade and 512 would be ur max

ZipZoomFly was originally Googlegear before Google told them to change their name.

I ordered from Googlegear before, and they were great. A few items were truly cheap, and I had free 2nd day shipping on all my items. Recommended here.

You should get 512MB sticks, which most current laptops support. Corsair is great memory. I have two 512MB sticks of that exact memory you linked waiting for me right now at the FedEx office. I have heard good things about ZipZoomFly, but I ordered mine from NewEgg for the exact same price, and we know NewEgg's always a safe bet.
