From personal experience this weekend, I know for a fact that almost all of the drivers are located on the AW website. I did a horrible thing to my m5500 , and thankfully the drivers were located at AW's support website.

I'm only having one issue now and that is the CPU is running very hot now (It never used to run hot), and the fan is on constantly.

You can get all the drivers from AW's driver download pages. They are not password protected.

The bios' on the other hand, are in a protected area. Unless you're having problems, there is no reason to update the bios.

If you feel you need the latest bios, someone that owns an m5500 will have to send it to you. I don't have an m5500, so I can't access the bios.

Bios' are available in the "my hive" section for original owners.

I take it you did a complete reinstall? And it's still running hot?

I am on the road right now, but will be home later today. I will get the Bios for you later.

The m5500-R3 means the m5550, I think. If MB's Bios for the m5500 doesn't work on your R3, then I'll upload mines.

Thanks guys i'll try either,
although i think Spartan maybe right,
I think the M5500 runs on a different motherboard.

Thanks Spartan but it says the file is set to private, so only the owner can access it.

Hold on, let me change that. Should work now.
