Bluetooth PCMCIA/FreePulse Pairing?

Thread Starter
I recently bought a Billionton PCMCIA bluetooth card and would like to connect directly to my freepulse headphones. I am sure that this card supports headsets but i cant get them to pair successfully. They show up under bt devices but no success beyond that. Heres a screenshot.

Any help?

did the card come with its own BT software and drivers?

yes, i think they are the toshiba stack, but i couldnt get the headphones to work with that either. the primary reason i got the card was to connect to my phone. i downloaded bitpim for that, but bitpim couldnt connect to my phone when the toshiba drivers were installed but it works with the microsoft drivers.

could u share the specs of ur phone? BitPim is a good general app to sync pda and cell phone but it does rely on windows bt stack, and this could be where the issue is.

if the card comes with bt drivers and apps, try using the app from the card itself first

i was under the impression that the class only refers to the range. class 1 is 100 meters, 2 is 10 meters, 3 is 1 meter. i had gone to the broadcom site, but couldn't find anything worth downloading. anyway, i downloaded bluesoleil and my headphones now work! i can also add wallpapers and transfer pics and videos to my phone which is the reason i got the card in the first place. i cant sync other phone data like i could with bitpim, but thats alright. i am happy with bluesoleil, thanks for your help!
