VAIO FZ Battery Problems

Thread Starter
Everytime I boot my notebook on battery, it seems to start under 100 percent. Over the months its gotten worse. It went from about 94 percent to about 86 percent on bootup. Is there somethingw rong with my battery, or is it me as a user?

Thanks

I had a similar issue with my 1.5 year-old VAIO. I never found a way to fix it, but I can make a recommendation for battery replacement.

I replaced the battery in my PCG-7D2L with a battery from Battery Geek this past year, and it's amazing. My VAIO is a real power hog, but the battery I got from those guys tripled my battery life. Highly recommended.

Caveat: the battery is bigger in size, but the greater surface area actually makes the laptop somewhat cooler.

Check getting it replaced under warranty? I would think there must be some kind of warranty on a battery!
