I have Acer 5520 AMD 2X64 1Gg ram Nvidea Ge Force 7000. Vista HP
Although not high end specs today, I feel I should be able to run FS 2002 with no problem. I obviously didn't get this computer to run latest games but do like Flight Sim. It runs, and display works ok for most part but the whole Sim runs very slowly as if system is totally taxed out. Actually it runs better on my desktop Pent 3 128mg ram Win 98. Is it the Vista thing? Although I got to like the Vista OS for the way it handles most things, it is such a hog taxing the hell out of any rescources. If it wasn't a laptop I would probably have downgraded to XP by now. Any system should just fly using Xp with the hardware that I have.....shouldn't it?
