Sins of a Solar Empire

Saw this game in my new issue of Game Informer (with Resistance 2 on it )

Was wondering if anyone has played this game or if there is a demo available since the game is now out (Feb 4th) I played a demo of Universe at War: Earth Assault after it had been out for a week or so.

Have been watching a few of the in game stuff and what not, reminds me of Supreme Commander and that game chapped my @ss. I was hoping it was more like homeworld.

Well if anyone gets it drop a post or 2 here.

Its like Homeworld meets Supreme Commander meets Empire earth (kinda)

Bump

Picked this game up last week, very well done. Nice thought out game, good overall planning to it. No Campaign but this is suppose to be an RTS on a huge scale, game is open ended so everything can be modded (check stardocks forums - BSG mods, ST:TNG mods, B5 mods, etc). Definitly no SupComm at all and the game runs well on multiple configurations (i.e. Not SupComm where u needed a high end comp to run it)

The game revolves around u spreading over an area of planets/planet systems. AI can be a little to hard at times but is managable (finally won my first one through an alliance with a diff AI then both of us pounded the homeworld of the last AI )

Fun game, easy to make clans, get online and just battle with ur friends. Some of the things in game confuse me but I have not logged alot of hours.
