Ouch, thats gotta hurt. I bet you feel a lot better now though. =)

I paid $1913.13 for my E1705 in March 06 and got the laptop in April 06 so because of the delay they gave me a $100 GC. I am so glad that I got the 2yr CC. I will be extending it once I get my tax return.

He also mentioned something about a DVI port if i really needed it. And i said sure why not, don`t even know what its for ?
lol u sure got really lucky. The DVI port it to hook ur laptop to an external monitor. The main reason its so important is cause only the M1730 has DVI right now.

Oh ok.
Or, we can expect another pissed off guy who was promised M1730 then downgraded to whatever the crap Dell will come up with.

Anyways, gratz on your replacement, but I wouldn't of posted it until I saw it.

...........................

I hate you with a fiery passion that burns of 1000 suns.

Multiply that hate by infinity and take that to the depths of forever and you can still not catch a glimpse at how much I want to watch you and your soul burn to the ground from nothing short of the envy I feel towards you.

Read my thread, I had a MUCH better computer than you to start with, and just fought dell for the last two weeks to end up with a worse computer than what I started with.

I have made a BBB complaint, talked to dozens and dozens of people, complained to corporate, blanketed every President and vice president in the company with emails, and am working on a consumerist report, and still nothing.

I wish you the best in luck, they placed two orders for M1730's for me, and canceled both of them before they went through...

Good luck.

LOL!

burns of 1000 suns really touched me.
lol i think Dell is sending out more 1730's as replacements then they're actually selling

when you read al the Happy/Horror stories lately really accents the fact that it really comes down to who you happen to get handling your case.
