Refund for dell bought via dell credit account

I My question is, has anyone ever returned a computer that was bought via the dell credit account? I bought my E1705 from the credit account last year, I still owe a few $100 on it, but since I have paid off a big portion of it, what should I expect dell to do about this? Of course I would like to simply receive a check and continue to pay off the credit off at my pace and use the check towards my new alienware (sli 7950GTX FTW)

Alienware and Dell are linked. EDIT: They should give you a refund (But they'll probablly give you a new better laptop) Sorry for the rough spelling

oooo that changes things on your refund i would assume. if it was paid off, they would i'm guessing credit your account back. i'm not sure that you'll get the cash. ie, if you had a sears card and you take something back that you are still paying for on their credit, they credit your sears card back, they dont usually give you the money.

Please explain: Alienware and dell are linked.

I am aware that dell owns alienware, but alienware is its own company, and they are different laptops. I would LOVE an alienware with sli 7950GTX

I've had this happen to me before, they will send you a check if you request it as long as there is a credit on your account.

Let them refund the money and have them cut you the check minus what you still owe.

You might end-up with the same bullsh!t though. But Sli 7950GTX does sound good though
