No POST after replacing 9880 sager laptop harddisk

Hi,
I am not getting the POST startup messages after I replaced a failed harddisk on my 9880 sager. I have two SATA drives (non-RAID). I have checked the connections and everything seems to be fine. I tried using one hard disk alone but that didn't help. Is there anything else I should check?

The flex cables for the drives break easily. . . in replaceing it you may have damaged yours. You should be able to contact sager and order a replacement.
