Just installed "intel turbo memory" driver from dell site...
What is this? How do I tell if I have it (i have an ps 1330)?
From what I can tell, this is a little bit of memory that caches the HDD?
I have a SSD ... would this even help?
The driver loaded with no problem. But I don't ever remember buying this..

yeah i loaded it onto my m1330 too and it loaded fine, and from what i can tell i do NOT have the actual turbo memory. It is flash memory that installs into a pci express slot and basically caches some stuff that is supposed to help your computer boot faster, and stuff like that. I've read a lot of reviews stating that it doesnt help at all if u have 2gb of ram or more so i wouldnt worry about it. But if u really are interested amazon.com has it for about 24.95.

oh yeah to see if u have it just open the little flap on the bottom of the laptop where ur wifi card is, and you should be able to see if u have one.

NAh-- I don't see how it's going to help-- I read up on it, supposed to save battery life and gain speed by letting the hard drive spin down more often.. I have a solid state drive so, I don't see the savings.
