Wireless drops on 1720

I've had my 1720 for about 4 months now, and I've had a problem with the wireless dropping ever since I've owned it.

The problem only occurs when I am copying files from my laptop to my desktop. I do this often, and with large files as I have my bittorrent client on my laptop, and copy the files to the desktop once they are done.

Without fail during the file transfers, the wireless on the laptop will drop. I don't believe this to be a range or router issue, as I've used 2 different routers, both of which were in the same room, about 20ft away at most. I've also moved since I bought this laptop, and the problem followed me to the new house.

I don't have the problem at any other time. Even when downloading files at more than 1mb/s, I don't get this. It's only during PC to PC file transfers.

I'm lost on this and would appreciate some help if it can be offered. OS is Vista Home Premium.

I have several of these and they always been as steady as a rock.
Not fast but always reliable.
You may have a faulty card.

But I also have a weird one that has really stange 11a band frequencies and is only of use in 11g band.
