need 400FSB only CPU
Pentium 765 = 2.1Ghz 400FSB
Pentium 755 = 2.0Ghz 400FSB
Pentium 745 = 1.8Ghz 400FSB

I've got an M735 = 1.7Ghz 400fsb cpu available for cheap that I was gonna pin mod in a 9300 but sold the 9300 before I did the pin mod. If you are interested, drop me a pm.

LOL... Someone's planning a pinmod.

Good luck if you get a 755 or 765. From what I've read, the success rate drops off fairly sharply above the 1.8 745.

If I wasn't so tied up with the e1705 to m1710 conversion, I'd be in the hunt for a 745 myself. I've a feeling however, once the m1710 is complete, I'll wind up selling off the i9300 to finance putting the e1705 back together...

And then of course, I'll probably convert the 2nd e1705 to an m1710....hehehehehe

The fun never stops...although the wife keeps trying.

After the very successful transaction we just had, I'll give you first dibs via PM if/when the time comes.

There's a number of options I'm mulling over...selling the leftover e1705 parts to get a 7950GTX and a couple sticks of 2GB PC5300 (giving me 3GB each in the m1710 and i9300).

Sell the i9300 and rebuild the e1705...

I've got a nicely working D600 that has a case of the uglies...needs a LCD lid, palmrest and keyboard. Haven't decided yet to refurb and keep, refurb and sell, or sell as is...

I've also got an i1100 kicking about that needs nothing but a battery.

Decisions, decisions... But, I will give you first crack at the i9300 if it goes up on the block.

i am not plannign to pin mod else my 1.6/1.5 does very good job, is jsut my laptop is 855pm only 400fsb
