For all of you that don't know me I'm Trey the one that had the "Dell Inspiron 1000 problem" thread and I'm on the internet now. There's one more solution that I have to fix.The Logitech Joystick that I have isn't working that well I had this thing for two years It's kinda like a PS2 Controller. but anyway this happened on two fridays ago. every thing seemed to be working fine then once when I came back to my apartment complex I tried to play my PC game but it didn't work anyway.I'd tried to taped it around but that still was a problem One of the bubbles comes up and say USB not recognized. Because my joystick was always going off and on in 5 seconds. And then after that my computer automatically shuts me off. I think it had to be the joystick. Because one of mine wires is broken.on the joystick.IS THERE ANYWAY TO FIX THESE THINGS!!!!! Because I'm bored out of my mind

SUPER BORED!!!!

Trey, no offense there bud but your choice of font almost made my eyes jump out of my head and punch me in the kidney.

Now from what I can gather from your problem your controller has some broken wires on it causing windows not to recognize it. Chuck it, it's not worth fixing. Run over to Wally world and buy an XBox 360 wired controller, they're native USB and shouldn't take much effort to get running, that is if you're in a bind and can't wait for a computer hardware site to ship you a new joystick.
