M1330 /.3MP webcam and Standard LCD display?

I just picked up a couple of M1330's from the Outlet with a 15% off coupon (making them sub-$600 and sub-$700), and the specs said 0.3MP webcam, and standard WXGA display.

Since I don't think that combination is possible, I'm hoping the webcam IS the 0.3MP but the display is the LED type. That will be a deal!

Can anyone confirm that you can, indeed, get the 0.3MP webcam and a standard LCD display?

Keeping my fingers crossed....

as far as I know that combination isn't possible.

the 2.0MP comes with the regular LCD and the 0.3MP comes with the LED display.

Out of curiousity...what video cards did those M1330's have? If they had LED screens AND 8400s...then yeah, you did indeed get an amazing deal.

Well, luck was not on my side. It appears the description of the webcam was wrong. I got the M1330's, and they had the regular LCD screen, and 2.0MB webcams.

update:

I called dell, and complained abotu the wrong screen being advertised. They offered to have returned or send me a credit.

After some haggling, they credited me $125 towards the purchase.

Bringing my price down to $734

i can live w that i think.

Now just trying to decide if i can live with the 1200x1024 screen, my old WSXGA 15.4" on my dell i 8600 could easily fit alot on the screen, 2 browers windows, or a browser window and poker game, chat etc..

this smaller screen i hve to flip back and forht, its kind of a pain
