Just picked up The Witcher today and got into playing. The only problem I have right now is taht I keep getting windows errors in the middle of playing making the game shut down and I lose some saved data (which sucks) one time it reported a video hardware malfunction. Also, this exclusively happens with this game, no other. Thanks.

I purchased this Nook Color specifically because I was taking a very long trip to China and wanted to be able to read without carrying a ton of books. I also liked that it had email capability...

This is an awesome mouse with an excellent grip for a mid sized to large size hand. Right-handed, comfortable, trendy, upscale, red, responsive, functional, task oriented. Overall A+++

Yep, make sure you run the 1.2 patch. Also, there are some Microsoft "hotfixes" that need to be applied as well. Google the The Witcher forums / Technial section for more info.
I had some problems initially with the game, but did the patch and the hotfixes, and I've now played for hours with no issues. Note that I'm using Vista 64-bit, 4GB of RAM and an 8800 GTX (haven't had the need to turn on SLI for it).
Another thing to try is playing it in a Window ... this seems to work for lots of people. I really like this game. Finished Act II this past weekend.

Also I must say that the game is optimized well. It runs really smooth on my system with everything turned up. Even got AA and AF maxed. I'm also really enjoying the game, just played through Act I the past couple days and am getting into Act II, the only thing I find funny/odd is the part where with almost every woman is the option to "fool around"

I started playing this game last week. First RPG I've played in a while that I actually like. Very complex gameplay with all of the 'stuff' you accumulate, trying to remember who gets what.
