Right fan on the fritz

One my 9300 The right fan when i am looking at the screen is on the fritz. Is this the fan for the processor or video? I need to call in and get it replaced.

You should be able to get one from ebay, i did for my cpu. I called ell anmd they said we dont carry the parts for your laptop anymore but i believe the same fans are for many different models so it should be easy.

Its buzzing/rubbing. If i tap the case it will go back to normal.

I chatted with Dell last night. They are sending new fans for both CPU and GPU. I also have them sending me a new PCMCIA slot as that was broke as well.

I have 4 year warranty with complete care. Still have 1.5 years left. Already had LCD replaced about a year ago.

Thats good you're getting it sorted, when i rang dell for a cpu fan for my 9400 they told me the parts are now obsolete! Thats dell UK , they must be a load of retards.
