If you're using ATITool for artifact testing, you've still got a ways to go on the clocks before a *real* game will have artifacts. Those are very low clocks to be getting artifacts at, even with ATITool.

I was actually getting artifacts in CoD4 at 600/700, which prompted me to try 587/700, which in turn still artifacted in CoD4, thus I backed it down to 587/650 and there weren't anymore problems.

If I try to set it much higher than 600/700 with ATITool's 3D window open, the screen starts flickering and messing up/tearing.

I assume my card was just a P.O.S. to start with... And I'm not going to go asking Dell for a new one, considering it works fine at stock clocks and slightly higher (my 587/650). Plus, they replaced my entire system after all the problems it was having (a $6000 2-1/2 year old XPS Gen 2 ---> brand new $7000 M1710), and they really didn't HAVE to (despite having the best warranty available). I don't want to try to screw Dell over/take advantage of them like so many others do.

Unless someone has a 7950GTX Go for sale at a reasonable price, looks like I am stuck.
