On a hunt for XPS m1710 parts.

I would like:

A motherboard

An m1710 base (along with speaker and fan covers)

A palmrest/touchpad assembly

A lid cover (in red or black, preferably red)

A PA-13 PSU

I think not. I've got a hard drive, CPU, LCD, optical drive, WiFi card (bluetooth card as well), and other things.

But yes, it's a lot of M1710 parts.

I think you forgot to list the graphics card.

You might also need the docking frame part...which has never come with any m1710 motherboards that I've purchased (new or used).
(DPN TJ395)

You can see the piece here on Step #21 on the M1710 online service manual when replacing a motherboard.

Are you upgrading an Inspiron 9400 /e1705? Or are you building an m1710 from scratch? As an fyi, the m1710 also uses parts from the Precision m90, so you can use parts like the base, sub-woofer, smart-card reader, etc. from the M90. And by fan covers...did you mean the fans with LEDs? You can use the GPU/video and CPU fans from the XPS M170, too.
