Not necessarily. You can be approved for their credit card but not approved for the "no interest until 2009" deal. You have to read the fine print and/or apply to see how it works.

well if u have good credit you are going to get approved if you know u have bad credit then you know that they are not going to give no interest thats common sense... a credit card company is not going to reward people with bad credit... it all depends on ur credit score...

I'm in between.. I have basically no credit besides paying off my credit card bill on time every month for a while

if u pay every month and on time then ur credit will be pretty good...as long as you havent defaulted on ur payments then your doing good...

Not good enough to qualify for the no extra payments until 2009. Instead they said "here, take 28% APR". Yeah, right.

with some people you might have to get a co-signer that has good credit to be able to get the 0% interest deal...thats if u dont have enough credit...im only 23 and i was able to get the 0% interest when I bought mine with no co-signer...

Does phase4 usually take this long? It's been a couple days and there weren't any parts that were on back order.

Pe patient!
The Phases are usually unaccurate, and not on time.

yeah it might say phase 4 but you could already be in five or better... sometimes it takes awhile to update the phases... the best thing to do is to call and talk to a representative and ask them which phase you are on...

For my m5500, the website said phase 6 at the end of the day and the next morning I checked it and it said phase 1.

That's when I called and found out the real phase.

I called a few min ago and they said phase 2... they checked with the billing department and figured out that I shouldn't be on 2. They never mentioned 4 at all, which is on the site.

I'm confused now.

I ordered my notebook 2-11-08
My comp is still on phase 4 and yes I have called them today and they said the case for the screen and camera were out of stock for 3 more days ouch!!!And I am thinking 3 more days???In 3 days that will be a sunday how can they recieve a shippment on a sunday. My ship date was march. 5th and that was yesterday. $4,000 and this is how I get treated. I was told at the time of purchase that they would notify me if there were any changes or delays. Well no phone call not even an email. But what is funny to me is they dont mind calling me at dinner time to verify billing info : )
ITS TIME TO EXPAND ALIENWARE!!!
Every company that goes big, BIG to BIGGER...EXPANDS, it helps to not create so much tension on their bandwith capcity, and most important THE CUSTOMER!
Hope Dell helps them out in this department. Prolly the reason of the purchase of AW.
Not acceptable to have inacurate "real time" phases. People are spending not 100's but 1000's for this product, atleast perfect one aspect of your service cause the product is there! Just my 2cents.

Yeah.. the high cost + wait reminds me of why I always promise never to get another AW system...

Maybe it's part of the "exclusivity" that comes with owning an Alienware.. you had to suffer through a month or so wait, at times bad customer support and very high costs. In the end you get a good product, but you've gone through a lot besides just paying for the thing.

Thats why we are who we are. 98.99% of america would not stand for this let alone pay this much for a notebook....but.....We will, but not gladly. Id say the only moment we are happy with AW is when the product is in hand. AW you suck at life....But I still love your computers....Hahaha it reminds me of an abusive relationship where the woman wont leave cause she loves him soo much haha...Thats us!!

huh? Did they change their policy or something?

My AW CC has 9 months 0% interest. So as long as I pay it off before the 9 months i dont pay a thing. Bought 3 machines on that CC.
