Looking for Desktop Build Suggestions

Since my AW notebook keeps pooping out on me I will finally have to make time to send it back for repairs but in the mean time I have to have something that I can game on. So now I am turning to you guys for suggestions on what parts to go about getting. My budget is a few hundred but I am flexible. So.... HELP! DUKE!!! ANYONE!!

Haha I am actually the original Yang's lil bro just I post on sR and peek around these forums more then post. My budget is probably 500ish tops but can go up depending on what I am getting. Thanks for the warm welcome And EVERYONE knows Duke

I meant i would prefer Xp, did I used to play Cs with you Brilliant?
And I would like to spend 500-700 tops, not looking for something amazing just a decent setup for now

Yup you were one of those WD taggers weren't you haha. Well my AW keeps blue screening everytime I run anything so thats the reason for the sudden desperation of building a desktop

Yeah that looks pretty decent I can subtract the case can just use my old one not sure about the 9600 though I may fork out a little more for an 8800

After reading more into the 9600 it sounds pretty nice for the price and who knows SLI in the future
