I plan to replace it with: Intel ATX E4600 CORE 2 DUO /2.4GHz/2MB CACHE/800 FSB/LGA775 Notebook Geil 2GB PC-5400 (667MHz) 200-pin SO-DIMM DDR2 RAM x 2 I am running Windows Vista and Mem usage is 68%, so i thought i might upgrade that, i have no need for more hd space so i don't see a need in upgrading that... what do you think? Also, my major questions are: Will the battery life go down a lot? (i can handle it going down a bit :P) and will heat go up? and is that CPU compatable with my laptop??? Thanks guys!

Forgot to add:

I know i will require a BIOS upgrade from DELL to run the core 2 duo's... Also will the core 2 duo (800 fsb) run at the 667 that the motherboard will support?
