Sup Everyone,
My manager Blake just gave me a laptop thats been collecting dust for a while cause the mobo is fried, anyone interested in the parts... the only thing i can test is the hard drive and its a 10gb.. i stripped it down, and everything but the mobo is good..
15" Screen (I think)
stick of Ram (Not sure of size (128 or 256))
HDD 10GB
DVD-ROM
Laptop Shell
PCMCIA Slots
Battery (May or may not be good)
Charged
Floppy Drive
550 Mhz AMD K-6 2+ Processor
Fryed motherboard if anyone wants it.
from what I was told, a power surge in the house was what caused it to fry.. You can follow the damage on the board, the power plug in the mobo has been blackened and corrosion follows the path down around GPU and towards the little battery extension piece.. All the pieces I pulled should work, but dont hold me to that.. im selling them "as is" except the hard drive because I know it works..
From the looks of it, these parts are pretty generic as far as VAIO's go, it looks like they will fit in most of the PCG models at least.. PM or Email me with questions
