Fujitsu Lifebook S6010 Problem

Thread Starter
I have a Fujitsu Lifebook S6010 and have been trying to reinstall Windows XP in it. Before when I put in the XP recovery cd it would get so far copying the files, then it would be unable to copy anymore. So I bought a new hard drive for thinking that was the problem. After installing the new hard drive I still have the same issue.

Any help would be appreciated

I've tried two different XP discs with the same results.
How would I check to see if the ram was bad?

I ran memtest and found that one of the modules was bad. I removed it and was able to install windows.
