Bad/Throttling FPS.

Hey!

I have a Sager np-5720-v;
2gb ram, pentium m @ 2.00GHz, and a 7800gtx

Back when I first got it I played Unreal Tournament 2004 just about everyday. But school started taking up more and more time so I eventually had to 'quit'.

So I just recently tried to play it again.. and when it's running the game feels really ... like.. laggy (even in single player). And my crosshair is always behind where I moved my mouse. It seems like the FPS isn't very good.

Before I went back to U2K4 I installed UT3 and it seemed to run fine for a few minutes.. then my fps would like throttle down to almost nothing for a few minutes... then go back up to normal.

But now UT3 has constant low FPS as well.

Any ideas to what might have changed? Or how to resolve this?

most likely heat. Try propping up the notebook to get better ventilation. If that works, then invest in a notebook cooler.
