First GeForce 9800 GX2 3DMark06 Score Appears

For comparison the 8800 GTX and Ultra were also tested and they have scored 7378 and 8154 respectively. That basically tells us that the 8800 Ultra will finally be beaten by another Nvidia card and that AMD's Radeon HD 3870 X2 will get some serious competition later this month. And now we wait.

I do not consider the The Inquirer as a "reliable" source of any kind of information.
