Good deal? XPS M1530 and XPS 630

So after 4 years with my i8600, it's time to upgrade. Here are my two choices I narrowed down to XPS M1530 and XPS 630

BOTH ARE $1500 SHIPPED

XPS M1530 spec (Laptop):

Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T7700 (2.4GHz/800Mhz FSB, 4MB Cache)
2GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz (2 Dimms)
High Resolution glossy widescreen 15.4 inch LCD(1680x1050) & 2MP Camera
256MB NVIDIA® GeForce® 8600M GT
120GB 5400rpm SATA Hard Drive
+ upgrade wireless card or bluetooth (probably go with upgrade wireless)


XPS 630 (Desktop):

Intel® Core™2 Q6600 Quad-Core (8MB L2 cache,2.40GHz,1066FSB)
2GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 800MHz - 2 DIMMs
nVidia® GeForce® 8800 GTX 768MB (yes SLI)
500GB - 7200RPM, SATA 3.0Gb/s, 16MB Cache
16X CD/DVD burner (DVD+/-RW) w/double layer write capability

I had i8600 all throughout college, and I will be graduating in 2 months. The thing is that I RARELY take my laptop with me to places. It's pretty much a desktop the whole time. So, I just answered my own question, but I want you guys to confirm if any of the two are good deals or not. Thank you much!

If you are a gamer, FPS mainly, I'd vote for the 630. I do love my 1530, but it's nothing more than a casual gamer at best. The only thing I'd add to the 630 is a DVD driver to total two optical drives. Both shound fairly reasonable to me for prices. I only paid $1239.00 for my 1530 off the Dell Outlet and it runs great and no screen problems.

I would choose the XPS 630 as its far more future proof than the XPS M1530. Hands down Dell XPS 630.

thinking in the power i would choose the desktop, but if you want mobility and you can sacrifice some graphic power you should buy the laptop....
