a brand new computer, with a 2.4 ghz penryn, a ***64 gig SSD*** drive, and 4 gigs of ram...


my OLD computer was a 2.2 ghz t750 chip, with 2 gigs of ram, and a **32gig*** SSD drive.

IF anyone wants to know why I'm excited, I paid $300 for the ssd drive from dell when it came out-- go check out the price on the 64gig SSD drive.

So they replaced because after 4 times the LED was still not right? Which manufactures of LED did you go thru? I'm currently on service call to get my piece of sh!t CMO screen 'replaced'.

And I must say... very VERY nice on the 64SSD. I know EXACTLY what I'd do if I were in your situation.... ebay that drive for an EASY $750+ profit after shipping/fees and then go out and buy this sucker... The Fujitsu 120GB 5400rpm (FUJITSU MHY2120BH) It's what came in my M1330 and has been sooooo quiet, I love it!!! Can be had for ~$60-$70

nah-- I really like the SSD drive. They probably gave it to me becuase I started out with a 32gig SSd... and I don't htink they cell the 32 gig SSD with the 1330.

I went through *FIVE* LCD changes-- two of them were DOA, so I guess they don't count, but the remaining three were CMOs.

I now have *I THINK* a hitachi-- under "hardware id", it says "Monitor\LCD2306"

Whateer-- it looks WAY better, and no white dots. CMOS are TERRIBLE.

That's the Toshiba... I have 2 M1330s, 1 w/ Toshiba, 1 w/ CMO. Toshiba is leaps and bounds better than the CMO

yeah-- I thought the CMO in my old one was pretty damn good.. but putting these things sid-by-side, there is a HUGE differece between CMO and toshiba.
