Question About CPU swap on Compaq F560us

ok i got a Compaq F560US for birthday and i upgraded ram to 2gig and what to know If i can swap out the g@y Sempron 1.8ghz Can i swap the CPU from Compaq 750US A AMD X2 1.8ghz? or bigger?

sempron to X2 is quite a big leap, most of the time would fail. how about max out the hard drive with faster rpm next? more ram and fast drive would do wonder to ur comp (and safe)

Ebay i am looking at X2 2.0ghz 35W mobile CPU for 150
