My GF is looking at getting a laptop, and I though I'd see what people here recommend. I've got an Inspiron 9400 which she uses and likes, but it's a bit too big and I think she'd prefer something a little lighter with a 15.4" inch screen. Are there any reasonable ones out there which will handle games. Anything from the last two years should be ok, as it doesn't have to be state of the art and we can probably buy second hand off Ebay.
My only requirement is that it has a dedicated graphics card.
I know that Dell did an Inspiron 6400 which is the smaller version of the 9400 I think, but did this come with dedicated graphics?
Failing that I'd consider something non-dell, and the price should be no more than 4-500 pounds (bear in mind that I'm happy to buy a decent second hand or refurbished one).
