Sold my laptop with no back up plan!

I'll make my situation as simple as possible:

What I sold

Apple Macbook Pro (best notebook I've ever had)

2.2ghz core 2 duo
2gig ram
120 hD
128 8600 GT video card

I profitted 300 dollars from selling this laptop, due to student discounts. I know great deal! So now I'm sitting on 1800 dollars but no back up plan!

Hardest part is I'm not sure what I want in a laptop. Like I said the macbook pro was the best laptop I'd ever owned (Dell E1705 was my previous one).

What I have at home:
My downstairs desktop is a gaming rig. Plays all the games I want and more (includes Crysis). Satisfy's all gaming done at home but not away

Asus EEE 2G PC. So far I've taken this on business trips just to do productivity. Take notes in meetings, access internet and email and thats it.

What I want in a laptop:

I'd like to do some sort of gaming (my previous macbook had XP on bootcamp)
Definatly Watch movies
Download tons of content
Big Bright screen for watching DVD's
Be somewhat light. Carrying a 12 pd. laptop is just silly

So thats basically it. I hope I'm not dreaming. Here is a list of what I have looked at

Dell m1730 & m1320 on Dell Outlet REFURBISHED
Apple Macbook (new revision)
Apple Macbook Air (I just think its cool and could get alot of use out of it)
Apple Macbook Pro (new revision)
Alienware m15x (seems overpriced to me)

Feel free to put your input!

I didn't get what you want by what you said.

You sold a macbook pro. You include another in your list (you may want an updated one), together with the 'vanilla' 13" and the Air (three very different notebooks, IMO). Then, you add a dell 17" (which is on the opposite side of the table) and another dell 13"? Then, still, a Macbook that doesn't have a big screen. Then, you consider an alienware 15.4"... but you don't want to carry a heavy notebook?
