Acer 5520 - 5160

Hi there!

I Have an Acer Aspire 5520-5160 such the title says.

I have installed 4 Gb of ram memory (2 x 2 GB).
Bios only detects 3 of 4. The importer (who saled to me) say this issue may be solved by making a Bios Update.

I have 3 questions

1) theres is anyone ho did this.
2)Can anyone helpme to find this update, because acers web site it is not the best way, its diffucult to me navigate there.

3)Anyone have another idea the problem source?

Hope you can understan my poor english and pls if you know about this problem, pls. Let me know.

it depends are using 32bit os or 64bit os, if your using 32bit os then you wont see full 4 gb etc
