|In under two weeks Nvidia's update machine will let loose yet another G92 card, the second one of the GeForce 9 family. The GeForce 9800 GTX is set to replace the 8800 GTS 512 and will come 512 MB of GDDR3 memory clocked at 2200 MHz, 128 stream processors set to 1688 MHz and a core at 675 MHz.
The reference 9800 GTX features a PCB 10.5" long, has PCI-Express 2.0 and DirectX 10.1 support and required two 6-pin power connectors. As revealed by the green-themed slides below, the 256-bit memory interface-equipped GeForce 9800 GTX will have a price tag between $299 and $349.
This is one of the first sources noting a price in this range. Would be great to see what tri-SLI does with these cards.
