my wireless is down

i have a acer aspire 3680

it was running windows vista, i cleared it off and put xp home edition service pack 2.

my problem is that the wireless is not functioning at all. i downloaded drivers from acer support but still nothing. the pc is not even registering that there is a wireless device.

please helps me

Try rebooting with the wifi switch engaged. If the light is not blinking at all your device might be damaged and have nothing to do with the drivers.
