How do I find out the price?

I have a Satellite M40-SF300 with nVidia 6600 Go in it that I bought in summer of 2005. It's in a relatively good condition with some scratches on the cover. No dead pixels, kept it clean. Batter is about 30 minutes.

I need finances to buy a more mobile laptop and was wondering how much I could sell my current one for? Any ideas on where I could do some research into what the best price would be is also appreciated!

see if any similar units have sold on ebay and if so for how much.

I agree with drlouis look on ebay for simailar units, or I could just give you the information I found. I found I unit similar to yours: Toshiba Satellite M45-S2653 the laptop has a starting bid of US $270 and here are the specifications.

closing bid is much more useful than starting bid. maybe you could PM him the link to the auction so he can watch it.
