Keep in mind that different utilities report different temperatures.

Use Ntune to monitor your temps. If you are monitoring the 8800s in i8kfanGUI, you are getting a false sense of security.

Mine is waaaay off. It reports 55C when infact my card idles at about 70C in SLI.

When gaming, it will hit 88C in Ntune, but in I8KfanGUI, everything is fine. I8kfanGui needs to be adjusted in the advanced settings tab in order to read proper temps.
