New Alienware purchase

Hi,
Just wanted to get an idea from everyone about the new laptop coming my way. I used to build my own PC's for gaming, but have been out of it a while. Getting back into it, I decided to go mobile, cause I'm on the move. I did some research and tried my best for under 3k. What do you think, and how will it do with some newer games? Thanks

  • Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T7200 2.0GHz 4MB Cache 667MHz FSB
  • Dual 512MB NVIDIA® GeForce® 8700M GT - SLI Enabled
  • 4GB Dual Channel DDR2 SO-DIMM at 667MHz – 2 x 2048MB
  • 17" WideUXGA 1920 x 1200 LCD with Clearview Technology
  • 120GB 7,200RPM (8MB Cache)
rest is pretty basic stuff.

Forgot to add, it's an
Area-51® m9750

get the 7950gtx in sli instead as they are stronger cards than the 8700.

And if you are using XP use 2 gig ram instead of 4. Best to just get the 1 gig or none and order by yourself its even cheaper.

I canceled the order and got the m15X laptop. 2.5 gig, 8800 GTX, 2 gig RAM. Seemed like the right move.
