Looks like my CMOS battery is dead. When I remove the main battery the time and date are wrong. Does anyone know where I can pick one up cheep and not pay $50 - $80 they charge online? I know the 9100 is the same as the XPS gen 1, but is there other models that use the same cmos battery that I can cross use? These tings shouldn't cost more then $10 I mean really!!!

Well not as simple as all that since it's not a coin battery but a battery with a lead on it. Dell part #X1504. Looks like the same 3V battery that dell uses in many laptops but my old XPS gen 1 sells for some big bucks to get the exact part. Shouldn't any 3Volt do that has the same connector plug? Looks like 9200 style CMOS batteries are plentyful.
