Sup Everyone,
I was just wondering if there is a way to give each monitor of mine a different background picture.. as of right now I only have 2 monitors, and I want different back ground on each, is there a way to do this with out having to save both pics as one and spend hours making it perfect on both screens?

Yes I'd quite like to know this as well.

Also is there a way to rotate both screens through 90 degrees so as to have both portrait instead of landscape aspect (sorry for chucking another question in on your thread). I can do it for one via the display settings tab but not for both.

Just because it reminds me of all the screens in Total Recall. Philip K Dick what a man.

You could try setting your primary monitor to having a background, and then change it to secondary, make the other one primary and change its background, or maybe have them plugged in individually and give them diff backgrounds and then connect them again. Just some ideas.

I can't test it on my setup, parents didn't like the idea, said it looked like a pigsty. (I don't know about that, check out my sa-weet setup thread, didn't look to bad to me.)

There are various pieces of software that can help. My favorite is called Ultramon. It works beautifully with my 8890 and has some very handy features like being able to assign shortcuts to a particular display resolution, monitor, etc.. I highly recommend it.

Here's a good way. Find an image you like, and in Internet Explorer, right click, and click on "Set as Desktop Item". Then hit ok several times through the dialogs, then go to your desktop, hover your mouse over the picture until you see the menu bar on the image. Click the little arrow on the top left of the bar, and click on "Cover Desktop"
Tada!

uhmmm I don't know how more clear I can be... Here's a shorter, and more direct version:
Set your picture as a desktop item using internet explorer, then maximize the picture on your desktop to fit whichever screen you want it on.
