x7900 CPU / 8800M SLI Running hot

Hey,

I have x7900 CPU and 8800M in SLI config.

My laptop idles around 77-79 degrees C, and get to over 90 during Crysis. Is this normal?

I thought it was until I started reading that people idle around 50-60

Please let me know!

Thanks

LOL, sold old one, and bought a new huh?

Idle temp does seem little high.

What program you using to monitor it?

Rivatuner, ATITool, and Ntune share same/accurate #'s.

You have to tweak I8kfan to match it.

Weird... if I use i8kmon, it reads 43 degrees. Why would it read different info from Nvidia monitor or Everest?
