With the development of the third and last Service Pack for Windows XP going smooth, Microsoft has decided on releasing a Refresh for the RC2 build. Available in three languages (English, German and Japanese) through Windows Update, the SP3 RC2 Refresh (build 5508) includes fixes for certain issued with Windows Update and has support for HD Audio.

The release of XP's Service Pack 3 is still slated for this first half of 2008 with the latest signs pointing out towards April.

anyone else having trouble with their remote desktop connection while using RC2 SP3?

mine says: "Prelease Version of Remote Desktop Connection has expired"

FYI if anyone is having this problem,

this doesn't work

that could be because it changed to the release version as of Monday when it went RTM.
