New here and hoping someone can help. I just received a dell xps M1330 tonight. The a/c adapter brick was 90w and has a 3 prong connector. The piece that goes from the brick to the wall outlet only goes into a 2 prong brick! I called dell but have to call back tomorrow with my case number. So right now I have a new laptop and I can't use it. My question is: I found one of my HP 65w adapters and the piece that goes from the wall to the adapter is a 3 prong and will fit the Dell 90w adapter. Am I ok to use this with the Dell adapter? I don't want to fry my computer or anything but right now I can't even use this computer! Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
