Alienware 7950GTX work in an XPS?

Hi, I was wondering if the 7950GTX from an Alienware system would work with a Dell XPS M1710. Is it specific for the company? I found one on ebay that says it is from Alienware and I just wanted to make sure it would work.

What do I need other than latest drivers to get it working? (Upgrading from 7900GS) Could someone please provide me with a link to get it working?

Thank You

I am pretty sure it would not work

Dell cards are made for the specific laptops (Form factor)

Here is the link if anyone wanted to see it. Is it just a problem with actually fitting, or a problem with software etc.

both, you can't use alienware BIOS on dell cards and vice versa. also it won't fit.

heres a dell 7950GTX

they are completely different cards, they are both 7950 gtx's but thats where being similar stops. a dell card cannot ever be used in an alienware, and an alienware card cannot be used in a dell, period.

As everyone else states your gonna have a problem of just fitting the cards let alone the other barriers.
