Very comperable machines (predominatly used for CAD applications), here are the specs and prices, what would you choose?

Same graphics cards, slightly faster processor (noticably?) in the T61p, HP has HDMI while the T61p does not. HP is lighter, thinner and doesn't have the horror stories that seem to keep popping up with the new thinkpads quality.
HP, yes, more expensive, but possibly worth it.

to me, the HP is the better one and while the IBM is quite trust worthy, i have grown tired of the mundane and well, the hp looks a little better while still saying i am all business!
