Asus Eee any thoughts?

Ive been looking at these a lot lately trying to decide if it would be worth it to buy one or not. Im getting rid of my old clunky Compaq and really just wanted something little to travel with me as a photo-editing/web site editing computer and this seems sort of ideal. I saw that I could install XP on it and use flash drives as memory, but would photoshop and expression web run on it without issue?
Any one have one or any thoughts on them?

the new 8.9 inch EEE is coming out at the end of this month, or begining of next month for 499$ est price

it will have an option of windows xp, and have a bigger screen res, id wait for one of those

google EEE forums, and read up on them

I didn't expect the Eee would caught on as popular as it is now. This thing is amazingly popular. I suppose the flexibility it can be tweaked, hacked, and cheap at the same time as an alternative ultra portable web browsing device.

It's awesome and filled a huge gap at a very sweet price. It's a perfect machine for typing/web/e-mail/wifi at places.

It's a notebook/laptop in the best/original meaning of the word (well, perhaps, not the battery). Oh, did I say it's cheap?
