hello all and this is my first post. i have been having issues trying to burn 360 backup .dvd files from my laptop. everytime i burn i use imgburn and get 100% completed sucess from the program but am unable to play them. i then have to use my desktop which has no problems burning.

the drive is the same as the rest of the slot drives (gsa-s10n) with latest firmware.

any help would be appreciated.

its probably not your firmware or anything. What program are you using to burn? Are you burning as a DATA DVD? What DVD media are you using?

first thank you for the reply..

as for what you asked, i am using IMGBurn and selecting the .dvd file that is along with the .iso file. The .dvd file sets the correct parameters for the DL break. The media is verbatim dvd+r dl. these are the exact same programs and media that i use to burn correctly with my desktop machine.

any other thoughts?
