Macbook IE woes...

Hello,

I just bought the Macbook yesterday and I'm lovin' every minute of it. There are still a few this I still need to get use to and learn, but so far so good...until I ran into this little problem.

Since one of the user for this notebook needs to access this website: http://www.torontomls.com

For some reason they dont want you to login w/ anything else other then IE

Does another know a solution for this problem?

Installing windows just for the purpose of IE on Xp would be overkill, I'm not down w/ that...

I dl IE:mac but for some reason it didn't install, something about it not being able to "mount"

It be great if something else like firefox can log that site...is it possible? (d
ont have firefox yet on new comp)Someone w/ FF want to try it for me? (i dont want to dl/install another browser, I think Safari does a great job)

Thanks for reading,

Shin

Worst case scenario, you can try installing IE through crossover/wine and running that. I don't have a login to check it on my machine though, sorry.

If you're on Leopard, open Safari and go into it's preferences. Click Advanced and then click Show Develop Menu in Menu Bar. Navigate to the page that tells you you need IE and then click on Develop>User Agent>Internet Explorer.

You might have to play around with how you open the page to get it to think you're on IE but once the site sees you're on IE it should work perfectly fine.
