Very true, however a few things to note...
None of the OSes failed on the first day. I will give props where due, this is a huge step up for MS as on the second day it allowed people to have the machine surf to websites etc. opening up new vectors of attacks.
The Mac OS was the first to fall from an exploit in Safari. I am wondering if Firefox fixes this problem(Since that is what I use anyways
And a few bugs were found in Linux, but noone had the time to write exploit code for them, so I don't know if they are exploitable or not. But either way hopefully they are reported(I see no reason they wouldn't be) and fixed.
