videocard compatibility with aspire 5570z

Thread Starter
hey all! thanks for helping me with this question. hopefully it'll help others too

i have an acer aspire 5570z laptop...i've upgraded my ram to 2gb of DDR and i'd love to upgrade the videocard in my laptop, but after looking into it, i'm still clueless!

all i really want is to be able to play reasonably simple games on my laptop (e.g. lego star-wars, battlefield heroes coming soon!), but the stock videocard in the 5570z doesnt support 'pixel-shading' or something along those lines

if someone in the computer business could plz help me out with this with maybe just a list of videocards that are definitely compatible with the 5570z, because i've read that some laptops don't support videocard upgrades (and the 5570z is quite a basic laptop, i think)

thanks again for your help!

You are right, the GPU or video chip is not upgradeable it is integrated (soldered into the mainboard)

ditto, no option to upgrade gpu. i don't think any of the acer 14.1 chassis (older ones) have discrete graphics. no options there.
